Analyst, Business Strategy & Planning ? OracleDirect
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
Business Strategy & Planning is responsible for managing strategic and tactical planning for Oracle Direct; working to identify and develop key sales strategies, identify and resolve operational issues, assist with implementation of new programs, policies and procedures, drive organizational change, and minimize disruption as change is introduced.
OracleDirect is the inside sales division of Oracle North America Sales and Consulting. It is chartered with selling hardware servers and storage, database, middleware and applications software technologies to enterprise, commercial and public sector entities in the United States and Canada and is the largest and most innovative inside sales force in the technology industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Participate in strategic and tactical planning for OracleDirect Sales Division ? Work closely with OracleDirect Management to analyze sales programs and operating procedures, make recommendations for improvements, and assist with the implementation of new approaches, methods, plans, etc ? Manage multiple projects simultaneously utilizing a logical, efficient approach for meeting strict deadlines ? Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other Oracle Departments ? Report to Senior Manager / Director level, Business Strategy & Planning
QUALIFICATIONS:
? BA/BS required; MBA preferred
? 2-4 years business development, sales management, sales operations or management consulting experience ? Proven leadership and teamwork skills ? Ability to function effectively and flexibly in fast-paced, changing environment ? Strong problem solving and analytical skills ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidate should have experience presenting to executives ? Solid time management and prioritization skills ? Expertise with Excel and PowerPoint ? Working knowledge of Oracle?s products and services
